What is Moringa?

Moringa oil has been used extensively for thousands of years. It is extracted by pressing the seeds of the Moringa oleifera tree, which is native to the Himalayan foothills. The leaves, seed pods and flowers are all edible & the bark, root and oil have additional medicinal uses too.

The flowering tree is a complete powerhouse of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and protein.

Moringa for Beauty & Wellness

What we often dismiss is that the skin is our largest body organ. We absorb and excrete nutrients and toxins through our pores and, in many cases, our body is able to use these nutrients more readily than when taken orally. Moringa oil beauty products have multi functional benefits for our health and wellbeing, including cell protection & rejuvenation (anti-aging), hair condition, immunity, hormone balance & digestion.

Moringa oil contains 7 x more Vitamin C than oranges, which when absorbed through the skin helps build collagen and fight anti-aging!

There are a lot of options on the market when it comes to purchasing Moringa products. However, it’s difficult to know whether they have been processed correctly and contain only pure ingredients. This can substantially affect whether you are receiving the optimum benefits that you can.

This is why I love to use independent brands such as Dawn Gallagher.

Moringa Oil is also called Ben Oil due to its high quantity of Behenic Acid (which is fabulously moisturising)

With Dawn Gallagher products, the ingredient formulas look more like grocery lists than a skin care label, which is what we want to see!

Among general everyday use I found that the pure Moringa Oil, and Body Butter provided me with a great relief from sunburn when I was in Florida. The products helped my skin regain its moisture back quickly and turn a lovely shade of brown, instead of peeling.
