Over 10 days I completed a Spring Revival cleanse (please see separate blog post). I exercised everyday, I was VITL’d UP (receiving bespoke vitamins through VITL’s new app) and I had some intense massages courtesy of Urban Massage. Missing was the optimum diet to accompany my health kick, so along with all of this I was fed by Ravenous, following a wheat, dairy and sugar free diet. Who are Ravenous? Ravenous are a Catering company who cater for events, photo shoots and private clients. But WAIT, there’s more…. Ravenous have crept up on Londoners as a new talking point. Feeding the elite of London, they have the likes...

I love making a healthy versions of my favourite cocktails, or even just creating and trying super sexy bespoke mixes, i’d love to let you in on some fabulous way to make your cocktails trendy, healthy-er and less prone to leave you with a horrid hangover. Make your "mixer" medicinal. High sugar fruit juices and sweetened mixer options work with the alcohol and gear you up for a dyer head and tummy upset. Lets try and be a bit smarter with our mixer options, and I'm not saying jump for soda water, because there are other, tastier options that you can go...

Firstly, what is Metabolism? Metabolism is the rate at which chemical processes occur in our bodies. This means how quickly and efficiently we break down what we consume for energy, for growth, thinking and everything else. If our metabolism is unnaturally low we can suffer from symptoms like having a difficulty losing weight to tiredness, coldness and even inflexibility. What’s fabulous is that we have a certain amount of control over how fast and efficient our metabolic rates can be! The fundamental message is that our metabolic rate is influenced by hormone balance - so it's a priority to keep our hormones balanced! HOW? While the formula...

We witnessed an incredible influx of bespoke fitness studios and novel ways to workout to achieve that dream body. Our social scenes will continue to change as we increasingly become even more health conscious and receptive to ongoing trends. Time is of the essence, wouldn't you say? Let's ask ourselves some questions. Do we have the KNOWLEDGE about what vitamins & additional nutrients we should be consuming? Do we know how much of them we need, and what to take with them? Do we find it difficult to keep up with where health trends are going, and understanding what is right for us as individuals? Most significantly, how many of us have difficulty finding the TIME to buy the supplements, make the smoothies and re create the recipes that health bloggers post every morning (including me/myPOW)? This is where my friend VITL comes in. Personally, I do prioritise finding the time...

Everyone’s going to be talking about CACTI We all know that sometimes the best things can be the hardest ones to get our hands on, or into. Think Oysters, Pomegranate seeds, Coconut water and toys at Christmas. With Superfood plant pulp and tonics, we’ve had Aloe Vera, Coconut H20 and more recently Birch water. It looks like the mighty Cactus may just come and overpower all its predecessors. Who knew that inside our prickly friends is quite literally a spa of beneficial minerals, vitamins and Antioxidants that your Mind and Body will love. Not only does the deceivingly loving plant house bountiful amounts of Pectin; a soluble...

What is Moringa? Moringa oil has been used extensively for thousands of years. It is extracted by pressing the seeds of the Moringa oleifera tree, which is native to the Himalayan foothills. The leaves, seed pods and flowers are all edible & the bark, root and oil have additional medicinal uses too. The flowering tree is a complete powerhouse of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and protein.   Moringa for Beauty & Wellness What we often dismiss is that the skin is our largest body organ. We absorb and excrete nutrients and toxins through our pores and, in many cases, our body is able to use these nutrients more readily than when taken orally. Moringa oil beauty products have...
